Hospice of Charleston Foundation elects new members of Board of Directors

Hospice of Charleston Foundation elected new members to their Board of Directors, as well as Board officers, at their meeting on June 29, 2010. Four new Directors will join the existing members.

New Board members include: Kari V. Davis, Director of Market Development and Physician Services at Tenet — East Cooper Medical Center; Marty McGee, Patient Support Services Coordinator at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center; Margaret Mullins, Media Relations Manager at Roper St. Francis Healthcare; and Cherie Tolley, Chief Executive Officer of Palmetto Behavioral Health Care.

Officers for fiscal year 2011 were elected at the same meeting. Re-elected for another term were Willard Stout, Executive Vice President of Harbor National Bank, as President of the Board and Joe Gallagher, community volunteer who is retired from Zurich Insurance Group, as Treasurer. Newly elected were Gary Leonard, community volunteer, as Vice President and Mary Peters, President of Care for Life, as Secretary.

We are very grateful for the service of our retiring Board of Directors members: Ann Summer, past President and Vice President, Scott Payne, former Secretary and Hospice Center Volunteer, and Nancy Bristal, Hospice Center Volunteer.
