Shannon's Hope

Next camp: October 17-18, 2009

Shannon's Hope is made possible by Hospice of Charleston Foundation, in collaboration with Hospice of Charleston – a Gentiva Company. Begun in 1989, Shannon's Hope is a therapeutic weekend camp for children ages 6 - 15 who have experienced the death of someone they love. Licensed counselors and hospice-trained volunteers provide enjoyable organized activities that help children "create stepping stones from their stumbling blocks."

The next Shannon's Hope Camp will be held October 17-18, 2009 at Camp St. Christopher on Seabrook Island, SC.

Pre-registration and application are required. You may apply by contacting Paula Mellichamp at Hospice of Charleston – a Gentiva Company (843-529-3100).
