Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways for interested individuals to be a meaningful part of the hospice care system. Volunteers perform a range of services including:
  • Sitting with a patient once a week, allowing primary caregivers to run errands or take a break;
  • Working at the Hospice Center in Mount Pleasant delivering meal trays, arranging flowers, reading, or visiting with patients and their families; or
  • Working a special event, fundraiser, or other program to help educate the community on the importance of hospice care.
At the Hospice of Charleston Foundation, there is an opportunity for everyone to give back to their community. If you are interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities, please fill out the online application.
